…Where the Journey Begins…
INFORMATION ON ENROLLING YOUR CHILD AT GREENSBOROUGH PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Greensborough Primary welcomes enrolments at all levels of the school throughout the year. We aim to ensure that all students experience a smooth transition into the school with a minimum of disruption and maximum support, and encourage all new families to visit the school before your child begins.
All students who are eligible to attend a Victorian Government school may enrol at Greensborough Primary School. Information regarding the enrolment of overseas students can be obtained from the International Students Unit at DET.
To start primary school at Prep level, your child must turn five years of age (or older) by April 30th of the year they start school.

At Greensborough Primary School we believe that the transition from Kindergarten to Primary School should be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. In order to assist this we invite future students and their families to attend four Transition sessions in Term 4. During these sessions, the children will have the opportunity to spend some time with their future teacher and other children who are also enrolling. Students participate in engaging activities which familiarise them with the structures and routines of school life. Parents are also invited to Information sessions which are held in the Library. These sessions are designed to give parents an insight into what they can expect from their child’s first year at school.
